Bridge to Terabithia Chapter 1

As you begin reading the book, you will discover the diversity between the characters. as we meet Jesse Aarons, we learn about his personality. He seems rather introverted in chapter 1. As we continue to read in chapter one we learn that Jess is insecure and has very few friends. When he meets Leslie for the first time, we realize that it is unlikely that Jess has ever had anyone over, and he does not have manners.
